I am me. You are you. My authenticity I own, not you. I don't need to own yours—that would be a waste of my time. I can appreciate people being their most authentic, but sometimes we need to recognize that authenticity is not the same for everyone. What is right to one may not be right to another. I think the value of respect has been long lost once we stop seeing through others' eyes or perspectives and recognize we are differently the same.
