The recurring topic of today was "authenticity". I remember there was a point in my life when people didn't want me to be who I wanted to be and this fear began to arise in me. Then one day I realized, if you don't like me for me that look at what you are lying to yourself about and I moved on. Every day we are making our goal to make others happy. That is great and all but what about your "authentic little you"? As a child I remember loving to play outside and mix berries with mud, making concoctions and having conversations with the birds and the trees. I remember Abuela Maria singing to the doves and even the ants. I loved that! As I grew my mother always said " Claudia you need to do massage" b/c she loved my massages. That was nice and the crazy thing is I wish I would have become a massage therapist. But I didn't, b/c that was not what the Great Spirit had planned for me.
