Amelia comes to y Respira guided by movement, nature, and a deep reverence for inner truth. Originally from the wide-open landscapes of Colorado, her love for running, wild places, and embodied living shaped her early years. In 2021, North Carolina became the soil where her life began to root, unfold, and grow in new ways.

Movement is Amelia’s native language. She lives by the knowing that the body informs the soul, and it was through rediscovering her own relationship with movement that her life shifted—leading her into this season with us. She is a personal trainer, running coach, nutrition coach, and sobriety coach, holding space for others to move not just stronger, but more honestly, through their lives.

At home, Amelia is a devoted wife and dog mama. She and her husband, Peter, are building a life in Raleigh that is ever-evolving, alongside their beloved German Shepherd/Lab and Belgian Malinois, who truly rule their universe.

Amelia finds balance in reading and writing—spaces where she processes the world with tenderness and clarity. She is drawn to historical fiction, Stoic philosophy, and personal growth stories—anything that invites emotional truth and meaningful conversation. Her twenties were spent in the mortgage industry, a chapter that ultimately taught her a profound lesson: accomplishment means little without the inner peace to truly receive it.

Before finding y Respira, Amelia studied Stoicism as a way to understand the world and her place within it. Now, she brings that wisdom together with embodied practice, compassion, and presence. She is deeply humbled to walk alongside Claudia and this community, offering her experience, her steadiness, and her sincere desire to be the most loving and kind version of herself.

Amelia hopes her path opens a doorway—for connection, for trust, and for growing together.
